Thorough Cleaning We started by using a high-pressure water jetter to clear out debris and blockages. Then, we used a Picote machine to etch and sand the pipe, ensuring the new liner would adhere properly.
Inspection & Liner Installation A CCTV sewer camera was inserted to assess the pipeline. Once confirmed, we installed a superior liner infused with a two-part epoxy or silicate resin, sealing the damaged sections in line with Australian relining standards.
Curing & Testing After the liner had cured, we reinserted the CCTV camera to inspect and test the newly sealed pipeline, ensuring it was fully functional.
Restoring Junctions To complete the process, we reinstated seven junctions using an IMS robotic junction cutter, restoring full functionality without any disruptions.
Additional Repair Identified While on-site, we discovered another damaged pipe section downstream. The client approved relining this area as well, ensuring a comprehensive fix in one visit.

We faced several challenges during this project, including a confined space that made inserting the liner difficult and required extra precision. The hot and humid weather also posed a risk of the epoxy resin curing too quickly. If the liner overheated, it could harden before installation was complete. However, our team carefully managed temperatures and timing to ensure a successful application.
