Ready Set Plumb is a licensed Sydney plumbing company that repairs leaking and dripping taps across the Sydney metro area. With over 15 years’ experience and a fully in-house team, we fix the cause of the leak, a worn washer, perished O-ring, damaged tap seat or failed mixer cartridge, on kitchen, bathroom, shower, laundry and outdoor taps, usually in a single same-day visit. Every repair is quoted upfront and backed by our Lifetime Labour Guarantee.

The Hidden Cost of a water leak
That drip is costing you more than you think
A leaking tap is easy to put off. It’s “just a drip.” But a tap that drips once a second can waste in the order of 9,000 litres of water a year, water you’re paying Sydney Water for, around the clock, while you sleep.
Left alone, a small leak rarely stays small. The constant moisture stains basins and benchtops, encourages mould around the fixture, and the underlying wear keeps getting worse, so the cheap early fix turns into a bigger one. That’s before the part most people don’t mention: the noise that won’t let you settle at night.
If your tap is leaking, the sensible move is to have it repaired sooner rather than later, for the water bill, for the fixture, and for your sanity. We can usually have it sorted the same day.
How it starts
What’s actually causing your tap to leak
Most leaking taps come down to one of a handful of worn parts. Knowing which one tells you whether it’s a quick fix or a slightly bigger job and our plumber will show you exactly what they find before quoting.
What We Fix
Taps we repair across Sydney
We repair and replace every common tap type found in Sydney homes and businesses:
If your tap drips, leaks from the handle, leaks from the base, or won’t fully turn off, we’ll diagnose it and tell you the most cost-effective fix, repair or, where the tapware is past it, a clean replacement.
Dripping right now?
Here’s exactly what happens when you call
You don’t want a lecture, you want the drip gone. No call-out fee to come and look, and a fixed price before any work starts.
All plumbing work carries risk, and you’re trusting someone with your home. Two things protect you. Our Lifetime Labour Guarantee means if a repair we’ve carried out doesn’t hold, we come back and put it right at no cost to you. We also carry $20 million in public liability insurance, so if anything’s damaged on the job, you’re covered. And we show you exactly what’s worn, the washer, the O-ring, the tap seat, before we touch it, so nothing gets charged that you haven’t seen and approved.

You call, we answer
Tell us what’s happening, a dripping kitchen mixer, a tap leaking from the base, one that won’t fully shut off. There’s no call-out fee to come and look.
$0 call-out fee and we give you an arrival time
A specific 2 to 3 hour timeslot. Our team works across Sydney daily, so we’re rarely far away.
We diagnose it properly
We find the real cause, a worn washer, a perished O-ring, a damaged tap seat or a failed cartridge, and show you what we find. No guessing, and no new-washer-and-hope.
You get a fixed price upfront
We quote the job before any work starts. If you’re happy with the price, you approve it, and we get going. The number on the quote is the number you pay.
We clear it and back our work
The tap shuts off properly with no drip, and the area’s left tidy. Our workmanship is covered by the Ready Set Plumb Lifetime Labour Guarantee.

Our Minimum Standards
No boot prints, no mess, no exceptions
Clean uniforms. Clean boots. Drop sheets down before we start. Tools, packaging, and offcuts out with us when we leave. If we need to open a wall or ceiling, we’ll tell you first and leave the area tidy.
You won’t find boot prints on your tiles or copper shavings in your bath. That’s not a bonus we charge for. It’s the minimum standard.
